Stunning performance last nite guys! best thing at the Lady for a long time! Will be recommending you to all on FB. (And next time you play I shall bring my Father, he'll love it!)

27/02/2011 3:01:50:PM

Seen you last night at the Lady, what a brilliant show, even with the pole-dancers! Seriously, fantastic stuff from start to finsih, can't wait to see you again. Roy and Mary

14/02/2011 12:40:37:PM Nige & Jane

Saw you at the Brikkies on Saturday night expecting to see Just Floyd, but you guys were awesome and Great Gig just superb - can't wait to see you again

13/02/2011 7:55:54:PM peter, Pauline, Linda and Rod (Norwich)

We were told that Charlie had booked a different Floyd Band - thought we would come and compare you to the popular 'Just Floyd'. We were not expecting such high quality. Although Just Floyd have an amazing light show, we didn't notice so much, as you made this up by the amazing rocked up performance.  Obviously the Great Gig must have bin the first airing and was fantastic. They looked relieved after the song. We will come to your next gig here ... when ????  People at UEA / Waterfront need to see you, as we have seen some poor acts there recently. 10 out of 10

13/02/2011 8:37:25:AM Vic

Great gig as ever last night at the Brickmakers, first time I've seen Kelly & Ruth do the Great Gig In The Sky - brilliant! See you again soon

27/01/2011 8:21:08:PM Ian Peasey. Burwell.

This was probably the best night of live music that I have had in years. There seems to be a lot of tributes, but nothing with the power and emotion that you showed. It dispells the theory, that tribute musicians are just copy cats. I am a retired session bass player / music teacher and I spotted true talent throughout the band (that's saying something from a critic). You all seemed like you could be standing in the O2 in front of 30,000 and it would be a walk in the park! Unbelievable - you had mine and 300+ fan's full attention and admiration. Beautiful, Well Presented "A worthy Tribute"

02/01/2011 9:49:33:PM

Have not seen you all for sometime, keep thge faith,  c u in 2011 Mike H. from Hopton

24/10/2010 9:22:42:PM john & jim

Another superb show at the Lady of the Lake last night, nice one and thanks to all the band and crew.  The suggestion is that Gary should try Marooned, he won"t have any words to remember!!.  Hope you have a "Great Gig" at the Kingfisher in November, regards, floydettes!!

26/09/2010 4:36:02:PM Claire

Wow u guys were fantastic last night. It was the first time I saw Pure Floyd last night and you beated my expectation. Excellent Band Wink

26/09/2010 3:25:18:PM Bev

Not seen you  guys play before, what an awesome gig. We enjoyed every minute and sould love to see you again. Favs for me are 'Wish you were here' and 'Shine on Crazy Diamond', but final track was the best for all of us I think. Comfortably Numb is such a fab track to finish a gig. Would be great to see you play a set at 'Gig in the Park' in Halesworth during August, check out the website, PLEASE

26/09/2010 11:20:21:AM john

Hello everyone, what a superb gig at the Falcon last night, what with the conversations i had with the "newbies" and overhearing people talking, you went down a storm.  Last nights "Echoes" was a peach of a song, it just shows the committment you all put into your songs.  The enjoyment and passion you all put into your gigs really comes through and creates a great atmosphere.  Anyone out there reading this, you must try to get to one of their gigs, you will love it, the next one is at the Lady of the Lake, Oulton Broad, on the 23rd October, hope to see you all there!

06/08/2010 3:03:49:PM john & jim

hi everyone, great gig as openers on the first day of the cambridge rock festival, everyone said it was the most people they had ever seen in stage 1 on an opening night and from the reaction of the crowd at your performance, they obviously all agreed !!.  they all said it was a pity you were not on for longer, they had just warmed to you all, but not your doing, you are governed by the organisers, they set the times.  Despite Garys worrying about not hearing yourselves singing, it was fine, no problems at all, the crowds reaction proved that.  As a plus, a chap who had never seen you all before and not even heard of you, said that when he closed his eyes, he was in Wembley,1979, when he saw the real Pink Floyd, you cannot get better praise than that guys and he had not had any falling down water either ! Keep up the good work, hope to see you all soon at one of your next gigs, regards,(the floydettes!)

17/07/2010 8:25:39:AM john & jim

Super night at the Park Hotel, Echoes was great, despite the cliche, you guys do get better everytime we see you, very professional!.  Looking forward to cambridge rock festival, see you all there.  For all you fans out there, the band is on early, Thurs 5th Aug, for info and tickets to see the band, ring 01353749749 (festival box office).

03/07/2010 10:41:47:PM phillip and jill quest ( acle norfolk)

Sorry for the delay. Took a while for us to remember the web site from your banner (now saved to our fav.sites) After hearing all the noise outside the Lady Of The Lake, we muscled in and got to hear the last hour of your show. It was undescribeably brilliant in every context of the word. I can,t really say any more than that. ABSOLUTELY 1st CLASS!!

As for the vote - One of these days. Do you have a sax player? I see one on the biog link, but not on the night. Hopefully a night off, but you seemed to get by without one. I work away, but I will try and get to see your full show later this year and keep an eye on this great site.  Thanks and all the very best to you all ........

27/11/2009 7:54:22:PM

20/08/2009 4:42:31:PM ken, paul, jon, sara, jo, kriss

An even better performance at the Cambridge Rock Show than last year. Your improvement amazed us and had us and the people standing around us tingling with awe. Best tribute on the night, well worth the 1 hour wait and a desrved roar of welcome and the whole arena roaring on the last song. Absolutely top PF tribute. On behalf of the 6 of us (lincoln) and probably 99% of your packed audiance.

10/08/2009 9:59:10:AM David and Maggie

We have seen Pure Floyd twice now, once at the Cambridge animal shelter and this week at the Cambridge rock festival. Both times they were brilliant, as good as, if not better than, the originals (which I saw live at Nebworth in the 70s). Comfortably Numb this week was truly suberb, we did not want it to stop. Cant wait for the next time we get to see them.

08/08/2009 6:10:07:PM john & jim

just back from cambridge rock festival, shame about the rain, despite equipment failure due to water (flood)! the band put on a brilliant show (as usual)  well done everybody.

03/06/2009 5:25:39:PM paul

thought the sound levels were all wrong at the carnegie but could still tell there is a huge amount of potential in this band. with the right sound mix and venue no one can touch you. hope to see you again

31/05/2009 8:26:28:PM Michael (Ridom)

17/03/2009 4:15:21:PM Patrick - dereham

I found your site at last.... Some well deserved comments and you are as good as they say. I can't really add to them. For those who haven't met the band yet, take the time to go up and have a word, they are a smashing buch of lads and always have time for you. Pro class musicians, need to be at the big festivals/ halls. Proud to be a follower.

Paddy

17/03/2009 1:43:42:PM John Kettle

Absolutley fantastic guys. A great flowing range of music that has made me dust off my old albumns. Should absolutley not be playing in this club(although I am not complaining). It was like Genesis playing in my garden shed. I'd prefer to pay 20 pounds , sit down in a nice theatre and soak it all in. Anyways, outstanding, and if people in this area knew who and what you were, you would have had a 1000 cramming in to get through the door. My favourite is echoes which you didn't do, but all your other songs were classics, so no loss.. Outstanding! A night I will not forget.

John (labour Club)

11/03/2009 12:17:11:AM Bob

Excellent gig at the Lady on Saturday. Look forward to the next one as always.

09/03/2009 8:50:15:AM Jamie F

3rd time I've seen you at the Lake. You just get better and better each time. Dogs of War was a good choice for a new song, but I am still eagerly waiting for High Hopes (rumour has it that you are working on this). Anyways A FANTASTIC performance, but I still think you should be playing in bigger venues. See you guys next time

08/03/2009 9:25:46:PM Kate

Great show at Lady of the Lake last night. Looking forward to seeing you next time. Managed to get at the front this time, awesome playing! x

27/02/2009 11:43:35:AM

Well done Jaspa on the winning the Planet Rock "Anorak".  Love the show and am a big Floyd fan.  Listening all the way from sunny Spain.

26/01/2009 2:48:17:PM Nils Dybovak

Great looking site. I saw the last song request from Emily (see emily play!). Why don't you put future 'new songs', or a 'dream set' on your Vote page? I'm not a Sid Barrett fan, See Emily Play is OK'ish but I'd love to see  the whole of 'The Wall', or add a few epic classics like Echoes, One Of these Days, High Hopes, Great Gig. Some great stuff on the Division Bell that you do not do. Would like to see or hear a few clips on the site. Do you have a CD, or video footage? People that have not had the priveledge to see you, will see why you are rferred to as 'AWESOME'.

Nils ( Finland/ Yarmouth )

25/11/2008 10:57:45:PM Taf Rogers

Saw you guys at Newtown the other night, thought you were amazing. Ive seen a few Floyd tribute bands, including the Aussie lot and you simply blew them all away. Thank you for a great nights entertainment.

Will the last floyd tribute band turn the lights off on the way out! Saturday was absolute 1st class floyd. I am sure we have now seen all the East Of England tributes, and you definately stand out above all others. You all look like you are having the best time of your life, girls were a knockout, drum and bass really rockin', great guitars and keys. Good sound and lights (did not know if they are part of your outfit) great food and venue (well organised. Will be watching the Camb Rock Fest site to see when you are playing again. From a well worn, retired musician you were the canine's!!!!

18/08/2008 5:57:55:PM Jason Boag

I saw you guys on the 12/07/08 at the carniege room in Thetford and you guys were awsome.

I went with one of my mates who works with Mike and it was the best £8.00 I have ever spent. I will be comming to see you again on the 24/08/2008 and bringing 5 friends with me.

I did invite Rick Wakeman fron the mighty Planet Rock radio station (and the Yes keyboard player) but he was doing a charity bash but he did give you a mention on the radio.

Keep up the excellent work and I will see you on Sunday.

Cheers guys.

Jason

We bought d.s.o.m. and pulse albumns sinse and can,t wait to see you again ( I think that means we are now converted floydies) Fantastic ... hope you get a top billing next year.
